There’s nothing like Patbingsoo in Melbourne. There, we said it.

It’s an eatery that doesn’t fit a particular mould. Unless of course there’s a mould for a Korean-inspired concept serving desserts that taste like your first crush feels, K-snacks from Seoul and contemporary Korean eats made from Australian produce. It’s a peek into classic Korean hospitality, where quirky knickknacks sit beside organic wooden finishes and chill out tunes are interspersed with K-pop.

After visiting Korea, owners Steph and David became addicted to bowls of sweet snow crowned with tasty toppings known as patbingsoo. Just as Superman became burdened with protecting mankind after realising his power, so too did Steph and David become responsible for sharing their discovery with Melbourne. Many eating
business trips later,
bingsoo equipment was
imported from Korea.
