There’s nothing like Patbingsoo in Melbourne. There, we said it.
It’s an eatery that doesn’t fit a particular mould. Unless of course there’s a mould for a Korean-inspired concept serving K-snacks from Seoul, contemporary Korean eats made from Australian produce and Patbingsoo – Korea’s favourite ice refreshment and national treasure. It’s a peek into classic Korean hospitality, where quirky knickknacks sit beside organic wooden finishes and chill out tunes are interspersed with K-pop.
From the delicious bibimbap to familiar Korean favourites as well as our signature dishes, we offer a twist on the traditional using authentic techniques with local and seasonal ingredients.
Patbingsoo (our namesake) is created with a milk or green tea snow base topped with our own sweetened red bean and rice cake.
After working in Korea, owners Steph and David became excited about sharing the varied, spicy and colourful flavours of Korea with Melbourne.
